Transitions and bridges in film productionWhat happens when an audiovisual project ceases to be an exercise and becomes a gateway to the professional world? This round table proposes a dialogue on that transition: how to move from early creative experiences to establishing a career, and how production plays a key role in that process.
Silvia Fuentes, Galician producer at Sétima and representative of emerging talent in full swing, Jerónimo Quevedo, filmmaker and co-founder of Un Puma (Buenos Aires), an essential production company in the rise and internationalisation of the most creative, daring and emerging cinema in South America – and Tono Folguera – Catalan producer at Lastor Media, at the forefront of leading and internationally recognised Spanish projects – will discuss lessons learned, obstacles and successes in that leap to professionalization. Their experiences will promote collective reflection on the conditions that favour a solid, accessible and sustainable audiovisual ecosystem.
