As a director, he made his debut in 2010 with the fictional short film <em>Ausstieg<\/em> (Honorable Mention in the Experimental Competition at Curtas Vila do Conde), screened at several international festivals. Also in 2010, he premiered the documentary <em>On the Road to Femina<\/em> at IndieLisboa and internationally at the Clermont-Ferrand Festival. In 2013, he won the Grand Prize at Curtas Vila do Conde with <em>Carosello<\/em>, as well as the awards for Best Short Film and Audience Award at the Luso-Brazilian Film Festival.<\/p>\n<p>His work has been presented at over 40 international festivals and showcases. He was the featured director in the Sangue Novo program at the 2015 Luso-Brazilian Film Festival. In 2024, short documentary <em>Stop &#8211; Rehearsal Rooms for a Historical Materialism<\/em> had its preview at the Porto\/Post\/Doc Film Festival.<br \/>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column width=&#8221;3\/4&#8243; el_class=&#8221;prp-10 border-l-2 pl-20 pt-90 pb-90&#8243;]<div class=\"vcex-heading vcex-heading-plain vcex-module wpex-heading wpex-text-2xl text-xl leading-tight font-euclidflex-bold border-b pb-60\"><span class=\"vcex-heading-inner wpex-inline-block\">\u00c1GORA WORKING CLASS HEROES<\/span><\/div>[vc_raw_html css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_raw_html][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221; el_class=&#8221;py-60&#8243;]<strong>WORKING CLASS HEROES<\/strong> is a project developed by Porto\/Post\/Doc in collaboration with Filmaporto &#8211; Film Commission and Fundaci\u00f3n La Caixa \/ Caixa Forum.
