1939, somewhere in the Midwest. To combat the agoraphobia of former child prodigy and now writer Barbara Fowler, she and her husband, also a fiction writer, Richard move to the countryside, where they become entangled in a love triangle with her extremely religious maid, Martha. All this will happen in a world headed for extinction.

Graham Swon is an American producer, screenwriter and director. As a producer he has worked with different independent filmmakers, such as Matías Piñeiro, Ted Fendt or Ricky D'Ambrose. In 2016, he was named one of the 25 new faces of independent cinema by Filmmaker Magazine. His work as a producer has been exhibited at international festivals such as Berlinale, Locarno, TIFF, Directors' Fortnight and NYFF. In 2023 he won the John Cassavetes Independent Spirit Award for his production of The Cathedral (Ricky D'Ambrose). An Evening Song (for three voices) is his second film as screenwriter and director.
