A sculptor builds his studio in a remote rural area of the Galician coast. As time goes by, he becomes more and more isolated and cuts off contact with his family and friends. He begins to imagine a new identity. One day, however, the past comes back to haunt him.

Ángel Santos holds a degree in art history from Universidade de Santiago de Compostela (USC) and a degree in film direction from Centre d’Estudis Cinematográfics de Catalunya (CECC). As a filmmaker, he has been active since 2002, and has directed several short films and features, including fiction works and documentary pieces (Septiembre, O Cazador, Fantasmas#1 and #2, Adolescentes, M.). He directed the feature films Dos fragmentos/Eva (2009) and Las altas presiones (2014), which was premiered at Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) in South Korea and recognized with the Nuevas Olas award at Seville European Film Festival (SEFF). After being featured at 30 major international film festivals (San Sebastián, Seminci, D’A, Munich, Toulouse, London Spanish FF, and Tarragona among others), it was show in different Spanish theatres in May 2015.
Besides directing his own film projects, Santos frequently collaborates with other authors andentities as a film editor, film producer (A liña política, Os prexuízos da auga) and screenwriter (A estación violenta). Between 2005-2010, he wrote film reviews for the Spanish online journal Miradas de cine, and has since collaborated with specialized media such as Blogs & Docs, A cuarta parede, and Luzes. Santos has delivered several film workshops at a number of universities, art centers, and film festivals, and he has tutored WIP projects at Málaga Film Festival, MECAS, and FIDBA. He has been part of international juries at festivals like FICX, Punto de Vista (Pamplona) and FICUNAM. Since 2013, Santos also collaborates as a film educator for the film literacy project Cinema en curs (A bao a qu/CGAI).He co-founded Novos Cinemas -Pontevedra IFF-, which he co-directed for five years (2015-2019).
