A psychedelic, alternative history of passion, plague, and revolt, Revelations of Divine Love recounts the true story of Julian of Norwich, a 14th-century mystic who became the first woman to write a book in English. Inspired by three days of intense spiritual visions, Julian throws herself headlong into a fanatical, hermetic existence, but the powers that be have other plans.
