Nel González Iglesias (Oviedo, 2004) is currently pursuing a degree in Audiovisual Communication at the University of Vigo. In 2023, he began his professional career with the short film Beatus Ille, which premiered at the 61st Gijón International Film Festival (FICX). He continued his filmography in 2024 with the essay film Disconnection, produced under the mentorship of Álvaro Gago at #AULA of Novos Cinemas 09, and All Said, a mockumentary that has been selected at 23 national and international festivals. He is a member of the Galician Screenwriters' Guild (AGAG) and the Association of Independent Audiovisual Creators of Asturias (Lluces).
