CUESTIÓN DE EXTREMIDADES
An artistic and audiovisual collective that transcends formats and disciplines, espírituescalera (Madrid, 2014) is organically and horizontally structured around colleagues and friends who take on different areas and tasks within the creative and production process, depending on the nature of the projects. By rejecting self-centred narratives, espírituescalera seeks out spaces of conflict and collective convergence. Alchemically combining activism, ethics, aesthetics and social commitment, their projects have been presented at numerous festivals and art exhibition venues. They are currently developing films and projects such as Laguna El Ministro, La muerte no pudo con él, En la madrugada del nueve de enero, Lectura íntegra de La sociedad del espectáculo en Atenas a la primera and Los subrayados, among others.
In this meeting, two members of the collective will share and question the different facets, possibilities and coincidences of their creative and working processes by always avoiding excessive self-help, self-indulgence or moralising messages and conclusions.
