Audiovisual education is one of the main purposes of Novos Cinemas. That is why we continue developing #AULA, a proposal that combines the transfer of knowledge and the exchange of experiences between audiovisual professionals and the public in a festive and relaxed atmosphere. Based on these principles, workshops, seminars and screenings form the activities and outcomes of each new edition of #AULA.
The short films produced as part of Filmes como marismas, a workshop led by filmmaker and audiovisual creator Candela Sotos during the first term of the academic year, will reflect the talent and creativity that characterise our campus.
Furthermore, in collaboration with ECAM (Escuela de la Cinematografía y del Audiovisual de Madrid), a leading training centre in Spain, Jesús Choya Zaratín —a film producer with proven experience and a unique flair for finding and promoting new talent— will lead the seminar And Now What? (production and emerging cinema) on models and approaches to film production designed to support these emerging talents.
Last but not least, the #AULA+NOVOS programme is another key section of Novos Cinemas offering activities for younger and more curious people.
