The programming team at Novos Cinemas offered the Carte Blanche for the tenth edition to the Mimesis Documentary Festival —an initiative of the Centre for Documentary and Ethnographic Media, University of Colorado Boulder. This festival specialises in creative documentaries, whose editorial line covers traditional, experimental, ethnographic and regional aspects, promoting underrepresented themes, practices and communities.

Four short films make up this selection. One of its programmers, Jean-Jacques Martinod (jury member of the Official Section), will present a selection that synthesises the aesthetic and ideological ideology of this unique and cross-cutting project.
