Nádia Duarte
Portugal | 2025 | 5’ | Colour | DCP
WORLD PREMIERE

The movie was born out of the admiration I discovered for active listening. And that’s what I want to convey to the viewer. There’s a certain charm in listening to sound, rather than hearing it. You can imagine that applause is rain, for example. And it’s this sensibility that I want to explore: that of a construction of new meanings through the intelligent superimposition of images and sounds.
